Need something to do this weekend? It’s the weekend before Halloween and Dia de los Muertos and there are so many events going on everywhere. There are also some great celebrations and food events. Halloween: 

Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival – Pomona

The Dark Circus – Interactive Halloween Horror Maze – Chino

This event is only taking place from Oct. 26-28. The maze includes five interactive rooms, and other scary elements. Location: 11436 Central Ave, Chino, CA. Price: $6 per person.

Rooftop Cinema Club Halloween screenings – Downtown L.A.

There is a Halloween/scary movie playing every day until Halloween. Some of the movies that are playing are Get Out, The Shining, Halloween, and Scream. They provide chairs, wireless headphones, and a view of Los Angeles. VINILO: Halloween Dance Party – Pomona

This event is on Oct. 28 from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. It is for ages 21 and older. This dance party is hosted by disc jockeys, IVAN and JUAN. They will be playing post-punk, goth, dark wave, and synth pop music. Costumes are suggested. Location: Acerogami in Pomona. Price: free admission.

Dia de Los Muertos

18th Annual Dia de los Muertos at Hollywood Forever – Los Angeles

On Oct. 28, from noon to midnight, people will be celebrating the legacy of the Mexican artist, Jose Guadalupe Posada. They will have Mexican food, more than 100 Altars, an art exhibition, a costume contest, and musical performances by Aterciopelados, Cuco, Ximena Sariñana, and Very Be Careful.

Calavera LGBTQ Community Celebration – Boyle Heights

This event is a cultural celebration and a remembrance of LGBTQ victims of homophobia and transphobia. En Memoria – Pomona Fairplex

On Nov. 4, from 1-8 p.m. the Fairplex is hosting their first a Dia de los Muertos event that will feature music, art, and food that celebrates the Mexican Culture. Location: Pomona Fairplex. Price: $20 for adults, and free for children under 12.  http://fairplex.com/mipocola

Dia de Los Muertos Claremont Celebration – Claremont
