A juvenile was wounded and a man was killed in a shooting on Thursday, July 5 at around 2:50 p.m. near El Centro Lions Park, in the 300 block of East Erna Avenue, according to La Habra police.

Officers found the adult victim in his 30s with a gunshot wound to his body, and the juvenile victim with a gunshot wound to his foot.

The victims were found in a gray sedan a few blocks away.

Both were taken to the hospital, but the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Sgt. Jose Rocha said that the shooting may have been gang-related, and witnesses said they heard four gunshots.
